Voice Style
Clear and patient, with enough edge to keep a careful survival story from turning into a field guide. Buhr has room for Mira to think through a problem, then tightens up when the forest stops being merely inconvenient and starts trying to kill her.
About Reba Buhr
We track Reba Buhr through Little Lynx's Wraithwood Botanist. That is still a useful test case. Mira spends much of Book 1 observing, planning, and working through what the Wraithwood is about to do to her. Buhr keeps those quieter stretches legible without flattening the danger. Her performance rating on the Book 1 listing is 4.8 from 539 ratings, a little higher than the book's 4.6 overall score. Sample before you buy if you want a big, theatrical read. This is a steadier, close-to-the-character performance.
Where to Start

If her quieter, close-mic style works for you, there are four books in the run.
