Review Policy

How we score audiobooks, what we accept, and what authors should expect.

How We Score

Every book in our database gets evaluated on the same four criteria. The weights aren't decorative — narration gets the biggest slice because this is an audiobook site, and a great story with a flat performance is a DNF in audio.

Narration quality30%

Voice differentiation, pacing, how stat screens and system notifications are handled in audio

Progression-system design25%

Does the system stay consistent, and does power growth feel earned

Story and character25%

Plot, character arcs, and whether book 5 still gives you a reason to care

Community reception20%

Verified Audible ratings and what long-term listeners say, not launch-week hype

What We Accept

  • LitRPG, progression fantasy, GameLit, and cultivation — audiobook editions only. If your book doesn't have a professionally narrated audio version, we can't cover it yet.
  • Series entries are covered through the series page; new series enter the database at book one.
  • We hold a quality bar around 4.4★ on Audible for database inclusion. This site is a curated shelf, not a catalog.

The Ground Rules

  • We don't charge for reviews. Not for coverage, not for placement, not for "expedited consideration."
  • We don't guarantee positive coverage. If the narration doesn't work, the review says so.
  • Ratings and review counts are pulled from Audible catalog data and refreshed on a quarterly audit — we don't invent numbers.
  • We earn a commission on Amazon/Audible links (full disclosure here). Affiliate relationships never touch editorial decisions — plenty of books we link to, we also tell you to skip.
