Background
Alex K. founded LitRPG Audiobook in 2025 after spending five years as a dedicated listener of the genre — over 300 audiobooks consumed across every major LitRPG subgenre, from Dungeon Crawl and Cultivation to Apocalypse and Monster MC. Alex specializes in evaluating progression-system design, narrator performance (especially how voice actors translate stat screens into auditory experiences), and series-completion strategies for long-form sagas spanning 200+ hours. Editorial decisions on this site are guided by a transparent four-criteria methodology: narration quality (30%), progression-system design (25%), story and character (25%), and community reception (20%). Alex contributes weekly reviews and maintains the Weekly Quest Log newsletter.
